Welcome to Our Victorian House.com.
This website is dedicated to the restoration & preservation of Craig
& Yvonne's 1875 Eastlake (Stick Style)Victorian home.
Please feel free to browse around. This is not a "This Old
House" kind of restoration like you see on TV. We did
almost all of the work ourselves, out of the sheer love of it. (frankly,
we couldn't afford to pay someone to do it, so...)

We have decided to go Pro!
After a decade of restoration work we decided to open a
Restoration Company of our own. I pulled together a team of top
notch tradesman to form Blackstone Architectural Restoration LLC.
If you know anyone in the Central New Jersey area with an old house in
need of some love, we're the guys!
It is truly a blessing in life when you find what it is
that you were born to do. This is my passion and over the years I
have found others who share the same passion that I do. While
working on my own home I found a satisfaction in the work that was
unlike anything I had ever experienced in my professional life. There
was no question that I needed to form a company in order to continue to
do this work and share those experiences with the world. If you
have enjoyed my online journal of experiences over the years, please
bookmark my new site as well, as I intend to document and post as we go
along. And if you need any restoration services, please contact me
and maybe your home will be the next story.
