Welcome to Our Victorian House.com. This website is dedicated to the restoration & preservation of Craig & Yvonne's 1875 Eastlake (Stick Style)Victorian home.  Please feel free to browse around.  This is not a "This Old House" kind of restoration like you see on TV.  We are doing almost all of the work ourselves, out of the sheer love of it. (or perhaps, we are just nuts) This is our first home, and probably our last, as this is more house than we will ever need. Dealing with repairs on damaged plaster walls and moldings.

Before anyone says anything - Don't blame me for the swank green carpet.  It came with the house, and while this may be hard to believe, it is in better condition than the floors beneath.  So we have chosen to live with it until the walls and ceilings are restored (no need for drop cloths).  The main thrust of this project is to repair damaged plaster walls and moldings.  This project is not really exciting but should give us a nice result.  Click here for more...
