This website is dedicated to the restoration & preservation of my 1875 Eastlake (Stick Style)Victorian home.  Please feel free to browse around.  This is not a "This Old House" kind of restoration like you see on TV.  I did almost all of the work myself, out of the sheer love of it. (frankly, I couldn't afford to pay someone to do it, so...)

Resources

I am painfully aware that finding the right products, tools etc. can be half the battle when restoring an old home.  Sure, Home Depot and Loews as an example can be a big help for supplying the everyday supplies, but frequently specialty items are needed.  I get lots of e-mail from people reading about my restoration journey, who are looking for the resources.  So I have decided to begin listing my recommendations, in an effort to help.  Please be patient as I am trying to be VERY selective to find the best of the best.  So, if you don't see what you are looking for, come back soon.
